SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6TH Thanks to the thunderstorms we had in the area last weekend, the drag races scheduled for October 6th have to be postponed until a future date. We're having electrical problems due to a lightning strike and it doesn't look like they will be resolved before Saturday. I regret the inconvenience but it is out of our control at this point. I look forward to serving all the drag racing fans and drivers in the very near future. The track is not dead, only slightly wounded. 2 FUNNY CARS!

No passengers in cars faster than 8.50, or cars without 2 sets of restraints. Seat Belts will be worn Windows rolled up, if applicable No leaks, leakers will be parked. Drivers with slicks wear helmet Motorcycles, Jacket and Helmet! NO ALCOHOL - NO BOTTLES IN PITS! Directions: National Parks (El Paso Highway) to Derrick to Old Cavern, Turn South South Canal to Old Cavern Highway, 7 miles south ************************************************************* The rest of our schedule is still tentative at this point. We’re working around the working schedule of the track owners and officials, as well as trying not to overlap the schedule of neighboring drag strips. We hope to have entertainment on some nights, Friday night high school races, junior dragsters, burnout contests, pink slip races, and ladies nights for both racers and fans. Occasionally we will have a photographer on site so you can get professional photos of you and your car in action. |
